Successful first APRICOT Project Review

Following an internal preparatory meeting on 4th November 2020, the APRICOT Consortium met remotely with the project’s EC Officer and external experts for the first official Project Review on Thursday, 6th November 2020.

After a warm welcome by the responsible project’s EC Officer Celia Alves Rodrigues and a tour de table, Coordinator Martin Browne of the University of Southampton introduced the project to the invited experts and summarised status and first achievements in APRICOT. The following in-depth presentations by the Work Package Leaders showcased the detailed progress in each Work Package, while the questions and answers sessions stimulated vivid and constructive discussions between consortium members and the reviewers, who gave valuable advice for improvements and future project activities. A dedicated Innovation session by one of the experts rounded off the meeting. The APRICOT Consortium is proud to report that, although the project is experiencing some delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the EC confirmed the implementation of the project is satisfactory.
